This morning, I was busy making Jello for our ward Halloween party. Lucy was in the kitchen with me, playing in the drawers. I purposely filled the bottom two drawers in our kitchen with things that Lucy could safely play with. The other day, I decided to put some chocolate in one of the drawers...BIG MISTAKE! When I turned around to check on her, Lucy had found my Halloween Lindt Truffle, unwrapped it, and was happily devouring it. She was too cute to be mad at.

Lucy tried to escape from the tiled kitchen to the carpet. Mom wouldn't let her, and she was quite upset.

"Love At Home-----"
We think Lucy had a pretty fun weekend at home. We did go to Story Time at Barnes & Noble Saturday morning, but this posting is all about the fun stuff we did at home while it was FREEZING here in Colorado.
First up is a picture of Daddy taking a break from finding a place for the last few items after moving. Lucy LOVED playing the Wii with him. She sat there for quite a while. Daddy even let her play a little bit too. She used her fingers and not her mouth which was pretty monumental.
Lucy had fun drinking out of the cup by herself. Why is it that children often think that the chin goes into the cup??
Daddy got a phone call Sunday morning announcing that church had been canceled for the day because of really icy roads. After reading The Book of Mormon as a family, Lucy, Daddy, and Mommy played together. We watched The Testaments later too -- what a great Sunday.
One very important event that occurred this weekend, one in which we we must not leave out, Lucy had pizza for the first time. She gobbled it up really quickly. It was pretty funny to watch.
So that was our weekend! It was cold outside, warm with love inside, and we were happy to be able to spend so much time together.

Leaves are falling all around
Fall is officially here. The leaves have all turned golden yellow and are falling from the trees. We let Lucy play in the leaves and snapped these great shots of her!
